Thu, Sep 03

|

Narumi Retreat Center

This is a three day retreat - designed to reveal and awaken the powerful, devoted and loving masculine energy that lies hidden behind the confines of our childish egos. We will also explore how this grown-up, masculine energy, is very much needed in our unbalanced and confused modern society.

About the event

Retreat Intent

This retreat is for men who feel called toward greater clarity, stability, and depth in how they live and relate. It is not about self improvement or adopting a new identity, but about questioning the self image that quietly shapes our reactions, choices, and sense of masculinity. The retreat offers a grounded space to explore what becomes available when that image loosens.

Main Themes

  • Direction Beyond Self-Interest

Moving from a life organized around validation, control, or comparison toward a natural sense of purpose, responsibility, and devotion to what matters.

  • Emotional Stability

Learning to stay present with strong emotions without suppressing them or being driven by them.

  • Relating Without Compulsion

Meeting others, including in intimacy and sexuality, with less neediness, performance, and strategy.

  • Relaxed Strength and Clear Boundaries

Developing firmness without aggression and openness without passivity.

This Retreat Is Right for You If

  • You feel drawn to explore masculinity beyond roles and expectations

  • You are open to questioning familiar ideas about who you are

  • You value direct experience over theory or belief

  • You are willing to be challenged, not just affirmed

  • You want greater inner stability in everyday life

What this is

It is a practical, experiential exploration of the natural masculinity that arises when imagined self images begin to fall away.

The Place

The retreat takes place at Narumi Retreat Center, north of Uppsala, Sweden—a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by forests, open fields, and unspoiled nature. On clear nights, the Milky Way stretches across the sky, and if we're lucky, the northern lights may even make an appearance.

The facilities embody a simple, traditional Swedish countryside style, offering a quiet and grounding atmosphere. A favorite gathering spot is the campfire area, perfect for reflection and connection, while the outdoor spa bath provides a soothing space to unwind.

Take a look at the retreat gallery below for a visual glimpse of this beautiful setting.

Food & Drinks

Food will be tasty, healthy and customized to the group attending. Meals are generally rich in protein, of detoxing nature and often inspired by Indian, Persian, and Italian kitchens. Depending on season, we might add a meal or two based on what nature provides during that time, cooked from scratch together as a group.

The center’s pure well water is naturally fresh and far superior to city water—don’t forget to fill your bottle before you leave!
